Daphne’s an award-winning journalist and her media career has spanned over 20-years. She’s worked on both coasts (New York and California) and for several networks (CBS Radio/FOX Radio and iHeart Media).

One of her most memorable experiences as a journalist, was covering the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, while working for Newsday.com in Long Island, New York. She’s also worked for WBGO Jazz 88.3 in Newark New Jersey, 1010 WINS in New York City, WBS Radio in Atlanta, WIOD News Talk in Miami and KDWN Radio in Las Vegas.

In addition, Daphne’s reported for television stations in Bakersfield and Palm Springs, CA, Las Vegas, NV and Montgomery, Alabama.

Daphne’s a former flight attendant (for American Airlines) and grew up on the South Side of Chicago. She attended San Francisco State University and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

Daphne enjoys volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America and her church.

For fun, Daphne LOVES traveling, playing tennis and spending time with her VERY BIG family. (She’s also one of 13-siblings).
